Kerry was born in Akron, Ohio, but was transplanted to her mother's home town of Conway, SC at the tender age of 14. She has since been adopted as a native as her roots are planted deeply here in the Myrtle Beach area.
It was apparent at the early age of 3 that Kerry would choose the field of cosmetology after many sessions of persuading her young cousins and friends to sit for hours while she did their hair. For Kerry, hair design was a gift, yet she always continues to soak up as much training as she can absorb. She has traveled to New York to train under Nick Arrojo, of "What Not to Wear" fame, and also the Michael O'Roark team for Big Sexy Hair Products. Kerry has spent hours with a collection of trainers for the American Board of Certified Hair Colorists where she earned a certificate for speed foiling techniques. She also won 3rd place in the SC state Updo competition in April, 2006. She continues to go to hair shows and local educational programs to keep up-to-date on new cuts, color placement and, of course, the latest in hair tools!
When it's your turn in her chair, Kerry is careful to give you her full attention. She wants you to relax, enjoy your experience and leave excited about your hairstyle. To achieve your new look, Kerry is proud to use Schwarzkopf and Goldwell color lines and styling products, and also enjoys the performance and quality of FHI and CHI styling tools. She does the full spectrum of services which include precision and razor cuts, color, hi-lites, lo-lites, traditional and neon colors, perms and chemical straightening, special occasion updos and facial waxing.
Kerry is available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. (Holiday exceptions apply.)
